The 2021 BICS Christmas Party was held Sunday, December 12th at Scout Hall. We had a record turnout for this event and were able deliver new coats and toys to over 230 Children. Most left with their presents still wrapped, excited for the opportunity to open them on Christmas day, but all had a wonderful time with the various festive activities prepared for them. They had their own imaginations brought to life by one of our three balloon twisters, made countless craft items themselves, and enjoyed the amazing array of sweets provided by Delta Coves, the Bethel Island Women’s Club, and Cuidad MX. Santa also made an appearance, taking gift requests and taking photos with all the children. Masks were worn by all, even Santa!
BICS would like to thank all the volunteers who helped wrap presents, collect donations, take photographs and work the day of the event. It was amazing to see the whole community come together to throw a great Christmas party. There was even a wonderful article written about the event in the Brentwood Press which you can read here.
