Gina Gloski

President

Gina Gloski has called Bethel Island home since 2000. She has been working with BICS since 2014 and joined the board as President in 2021.

After graduating from Auburn University in 1982, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Gina spent 30 years running world wide operations for semiconductor companies. She then started her own consulting company, Semiconductor Operations, which she ran for 10 years.

Gina is currently a member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club as well as the Auburn University Engineering Alumni Council. She also serves as a founding board member of the 100 Women Strong organization at Auburn University and is a past Board Director of the Global Semiconductor Alliance.

Kathleen Stein

Vice President

Kathleen Stein has been a resident of Bethel Island since 2005. She graduated from The University of New Hampshire in 1980 receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Hotel Administration and received her brokers license in 1988.

Kathleen has been the Broker owner of Cantwell & Stein Realtors for the past 30 years supporting all of Contra Costa County, California.

She is currently a member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club, served on the Safety Fair committee and the Children’s Christmas Party committee.

Dianna Rowland

Treasurer

Dianna Rowland has owned a home on Bethel Island since 2012 and moved to the island full time in 2017.

She was born in Oklahoma but spent most of her youth in the Four Corners area on the Navajo Indian Reservation. She studied at Northern Arizona University and received her degree from the American Computer Institute.

Dianna retired from Johnson Controls in December of 2019. During her time with JCI, she spent 2 years on an expat assignment in The Netherlands. Her love of travel has taken her to many amazing places around the world for both business and pleasure.

Being very passionate about the BICS organization, and having been a volunteer for 5 years, Dianna is excited about her new role as BICS Treasurer.

Kara Johnston

Secretary

Kara Johnston’s family are long-time residents of Bethel Island, and Kara has recently moved here herself.

She graduated from Cal Poly, SLO where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management. She currently works for a commercial general contractor, but Kara also has a passion for boating, having received her OUPV-6-pack US Coast Guard Captain’s license to use while touring the delta waterways.

She is currently a member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club and has been volunteering for the BICS Children’s Christmas Party since 2010.

Maria Bordanaro

Education Director

Maria Bordanaro was born in Jalisco, Mexico and immigrated to Waterford, California at the age of 8 years old. She has lived in the Far East County for the past 14 years and currently resides on Bethel Island.

She received her Masters of Science in Cross Cultural Teaching as well as her degree and teaching credential from National University. Maria has been proudly serving students in education for the past 28 years in various capacities including community and family outreach, teaching, and administration. She is currently the Deputy Superintendent of the Oakley Union School District.

Maria and her husband are avid boaters and enjoy boating all over our beautiful Delta. Maria has supported BICS Christmas Party and backpack distribution for the past four years, through her school connections.

Vicki Latronica

Events Director

Vicki Latronica has been an East Bay resident for over 20 years and has owned a home on Bethel Island since 2016.

Vicki recently retired from a 35-year career in the insurance industry and is now working part time with her husband.

Vicki served on the board of Foster a Dream, where she went through training and raised funds for Court Appointed Special Advocacy. For the past ten years she served on the board of the East Bay Independent Insurance Agents Assn., which supports multiple charities throughout the Bay Area.

Vicki received several awards from Soroptimist International for volunteer work in the community. She is currently a member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club and has work with BICS since 2020.

Audrey Delano

Community Outreach Director

Audrey Delano has lived on Bethel Island and has been an active community member since 2001. She was recently awarded Citizen of the year for 2021. She is a Freedom High School graduate and has been an office manager at TowBoatU.S., since 2002. During Covid, Audrey supported the Bethel Island community by putting together a learning group for the local children and single-handedly raised money to purchase backpacks and school supplies for them as well. Audrey loves the time she spends with her son, being part of his sporting events and hobbies.
