Free Youth Programs Coming to Bethel Island — Funded by Measure X.

Bethel Island, CA — Bethel Island Children’s Support is thrilled to announce the start of free recreational programs for local youth, made possible through Measure X funding.

Beginning November 1st, children and teens can take part in a variety of recreational programs —such as a locally provided PE program, out of town recreation reimbursement, swimming lessons/lifeguard training reimbursement, and a free bicycle giveaway program — all designed to promote creativity, teamwork, and wellness.

“We’re excited to bring fun, free, and safe programs to our island’s youth,” said Audrey Delano, President of Bethel Island Children’s Support. “Thanks to Measure X, every child can participate without cost.”

The PE program will be held on Saturdays at 10 am at the Community Park, registration required. Families can sign up for all programs at https://bethelislandchildren.org/forms/.
