Audrey Delano has lived on Bethel Island and has been an active community member since 2001. She was awarded Citizen of the year for 2021. She is a Freedom High School graduate and has been an office manager and one of the owners at TowBoat U.S., since 2002.
Audrey served as the BICS Community Outreach Director from 2021-2024 and President in 2024. She launched and spearheaded the BICS weekly tutoring program in 2024 and has successfully managed our media presence.
Audrey loves the time she spends with her son, being part of his sporting events and hobbies.
Gina Gloski has had a home on Bethel Island home since 2000. She has been working with BICS since 2014 and served as President from 2021-2024.
After graduating from Auburn University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Gina spent 30 years running world wide operations for semiconductor companies.
Gina is currently a member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club, Auburn University Engineering Alumni Council and a founding board member of the 100 Women Strong organization at Auburn University.
Kara Johnston is a second-generation resident of Bethel Island, where she has lived since 2021. She is an alumna of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, holding a B.S. degree in Construction Management. Professionally, Kara is a commercial General Contractor and the proprietor of KR Johnston Construction, Inc.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Kara is an avid boater, having earned her OUPV-6-pack US Coast Guard Captain’s license, which she utilizes to navigate the delta waterways. She is an active member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club and has been a dedicated volunteer for the BICS Children’s Christmas Party since 2010 and Secretary since 2021.
Dianna Rowland has owned a home on Bethel Island since 2012 and moved to the island full time in 2017.
She was born in Oklahoma but spent most of her youth in the Four Corners area on the Navajo Indian Reservation. She studied at Northern Arizona University and received her degree from the American Computer Institute.
Dianna retired from Johnson Controls in December of 2019. During her time with JCI, she spent 2 years on an expat assignment in The Netherlands. Her love of travel has taken her to many amazing places around the world for both business and pleasure.
Dianna has been active in the San Joaquin Yacht Club, holding various leadership positions including commodore from 2024-2025. She is very passionate about the BICS organization, and was treasurer from 2021-2024.
Gina has been an East Bay resident all her life and has owned a home on Bethel Island since 2004. She made her residence on Bethel Island full time in 2022.
Gina works for her family business for 30 + years as the controller. Now working part time, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her many grandchildren and crafting.
She is currently a member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club and has work with BICS since 2022.
Maria Bordanaro was born in Jalisco, Mexico and immigrated to Waterford, California at the age of 8 years old. She has lived in the Far East County for over 15 years.
She received her Masters of Science in Cross Cultural Teaching as well as her degree and teaching credential from National University. Maria has been proudly serving students in education for the past 28 years in various capacities including community and family outreach, teaching, and administration. She is currently the Deputy Superintendent of the Oakley Union School District.
Maria has served as the Education Director since 2021 for BICS and help bring our scholarship program to fruition.
Kathleen Stein has been a resident of Bethel Island since 2005. She graduated from The University of New Hampshire in 1980 receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Hotel Administration and received her brokers license in 1988.
Kathleen has been the Broker owner of Cantwell & Stein Realtors for the past 30 years supporting all of Contra Costa County, California.
She is currently a member of the San Joaquin Yacht Club, and was BICS Vice President from 2020-2024
